Tiny object in food

I'm asking here not because I seek compensation but I don't know how to approach this subject properly.

Last week I went to Aldi buying a bag of their new bagels, the ones with raisins in it.
I'd have one for breakfast, sharing with my toddler. Friday morning again and when I took a bite and started chewing when it suddenly made a crunch when there shouldn't be one. Sounded like a small rock or glass being crunched. Anyway I tried to get that out of my mouth immediately and I could see some bits of what looked like glass but it was so tiny you couldn't take a picture of it.
I was left with tooth pain and the optimist that I am "it'll fix itself, be grand".
But it didn't over the weekend, I have a numb pain and I'm pretty sure I broke a piece of my tooth off, so I'll go and see a dentist.

Yesterday I sent an Email to Aldi with the pictures of the package, since I don't have a picture of these tiny pieces I pulled out and told them what happened. I got a reply earlier today but it was a fairly standard "we're sorry you're not happy with the quality of our product."

To be honest I'm now a but annoyed about it. I will have to see a dentist this week and I don't think they took my enquiry seriously.

But what am I supposed to do now? Should I go get it fixed and let it go? Should I call them? I have no idea, I'm pretty uncomfortable about it all.
