Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is there any environmentally friendly way of disposing of ashes from a solid fuel stove ? We don't use it a lot as thankfully our house is quite warm but am conscious of disposing of the ashes after.. my husband just puts them in household waste bin..

Ashes from turf or wood can be added to your compost but coal ashes can't.

If you got a composter you could probably cut down on a lot that goes into the general waste bin as well.
