Following up on bleeding radiator and this is the newest post...
I want to bleed an upstairs radiator. I found the screw which is flush to the back of the radiator, almost invisible, so cannot post pics. Radiators no more than 12 years old.
Turned the key just once, but maybe a tad too much (?) and it loosened and immediately small and constant spurt of cold water started coming out, I thought there was going to be hiss of air. Tightened valve again.

What am I doing wrong? Or should I just let that water run out for a while?

    Thanks in advance.

    That radiator is bled.

    - no air. its bled.

It doesnt need doing, you bled it basically by doing what you did above.

Had the plumber do this too , spend a while wrapping plumbing tape round the bottom after every bleed , eventually just replaced the rad as it was leaky if not taped enough

    Thanks for your answer, listermint.

Would there be another reason that radiator won't heat up anymore? Cold water came out. The other one in that space gets warm.

Or maybe it is just that I have to wait now for a while after bleeding for it to heat up?

Edit - I've just watched a video that says turn off every other rad and see if that one heats up, I am going to do that first before I complain any more. Thanks.

^^^^ I am thrilled to say that seems to have worked. Woohoo :)

The others back on and hot so I seem to have 'balanced' it.
