We have underfloor heating, and I was looking at the Flow and return gaugues, I noticed the Flow value temp is going in at about 45- 50 deg and the return temp is 30 approx

is this normal? is 50 deg in the Flow to hot for the floors?

    Thansk

All depends on what the underfloor was designed at.

But in general the flow temperature averages around 35°C

Building regs state the maximum surface temperature for different types of rooms.

Hi. I have the opposite problem. I am running at 35 degrees flow. Problem is my return temputure reaches the flow in few minutes. I replaced bypass valve as I though it was faulty but still same problem. I have to heat about 10 loops to keep heat pump running. I have to do this to get the return temp lower. I think the flow is just going pass bypass valve but I don’t understand why. Any advise would be great
