Math science, UL to UCC transfer

    Hi all
I'm in first year of math science in UL at the moment but am seriously considering transferring to UCC. I meet the entry requirements with points and subjects. The only problem is that after going through the book of modules for UCC, I feel like I would be at a large disadvantage starting from 2nd year. Does anyone know if that would be the case?
And also, how much of a difference is there in the way these courses are taught.
I would be planning on going down the financial maths and actuarial science route if that is of any importance.
