Hi folks, have a downstairs toilet that has just started acting odd.

When flushed, the bowl fills up 2/3rds of the way but then empties below where the dark blue water line here is, then it fills up a bit.
I can hear the pipes rattling then for a couple of mins

Any ideas? Toilet upstairs and taps etc are fine.

Afraid so, it's usually a dead cert if the water films up the bowl then drops below the waterline and sometimes makes a gurgling noise.
Should be an AJ just on the opposite side of the wall.
