Eir voicemail doesn’t seem to be functioning correctly

    Hi,
     
    I’m having trouble with my Eir voicemail. I remember it used to work when I was on Meteor but lately calls don’t seem to get directed to voicemail at all. I’ve tried ringing 171  which said that my voicemail is activated. It’s been less than 150 days since my last top up.  I can’t find anything on the eir website., but I have seen some users on here helped by PMing their phone number and PIN.
     
    I’d really appreciate any help with this so I can start applying for Jobs again :)

    We are aware of an issue with our voicemail service, we are currently working on getting this back up and running as soon as possible.

    I was wondering if you guys have any idea roughly of how long this will take, or if I could get some kind of notification when the issue is resolved? I know that's kind of like asking how long is a piece of string but I really need my voicemail as soon as is feasible, so any kind of estimate would be helpful. It's a really valuable service to me, and not having access to it has been limiting my employment opportunities.

    I understand the frustration here. Unfortunately, I have no timeframe on this as of yet, as soon as I get an update we will let you know.

    Weirdly your fixed line voicemail also seems to have developed an English accent. It's like the localisation has been deleted.
