TV Upgrade, Saorview & Freesat Query

    Hi Lads,

I have a sky dish with sky+ box in the living room connected to my trusty old Panasonic Plasma.

In the kitchen I have a Samsung 48H6400 (bought from Richersounds) which primarily runs netflix for the kids. I used to have a 2nd sky+ box connected to this TV but gave up the subscription as I didn't use it but the cables from the dish are still in place. Because I have Virgin Broadband I can still get the basic analogue channels on this TV but this will be gone by the end of this month.

So I'm looking at upgrading the 48H6400 to a 55" which will allow me to connect to a Saorview ariel and the Satellite Dish. I believe that means I need dual tuners?

    Budget is ideally <1k

I would appreciate your advice on a suitable TV

    Thanks.

    Hi Ray O.

Thanks for dropping us a post.

You could perhaps look at the LG 55SK8100 which is priced at £699 or 819 Euro (has both sat and Saorview tuners)

Also the Panasonic 55FX750 which is freesat approved. Priced at £1099 or 1079 Euro (Paying in Euro on this works out much cheaper)

Both come with our 6 year guarantee free of charge.
