Slightly on topic:

What is the best way to contact PW to get the user/eng code? I've tried chat but as a non customer its a stone wall. Sensor failing that I need to disable until I get a battery for it.

Once you formally request it they will ask you to sign a disclaimer and send it to you.
If you are getting nowhere with a CSR ask for their supervisor.
