Just connect a hdmi cable into the laptop if there's a hdmi port, plug the other half into the telly and off you go

If you have a chromecast there will be an option in the chrome browser to cast the screen to the telly

Thanks I can't find a hdmi port on the laptop (it's about 10 years old) but there seems to be plenty other ports.

Is there a VGA port? Look it up on google it's a big blue one

If you have a computer in the house you might have a vga cable connecting your computer screen to the physical desktop, if you want then that can then be connected to the telly if there's one on the telly

Other than that I don't know of anything else I'm afraid

Did you try Dublin port I am sure it will fit in there?
Be careful there is a current running through that port.

    Thank me later.

A 10-year-old laptop. Surely that thing must take forever to start up and load programs. I'd get a new one.
