Does anyone know of any lower key events in Dublin over Xmas time. 5-10km distance is fine

If New Years day counts, there is the Tom Brennan 5k in Phoenix park.

Is this open for registration yet? Nothing on that link in terms of signing up for it.

Doesn’t appear to be a link for registration alright, I know nothing more just shared the link to the race.

The Fat Turkey, a 10k that goes up and down the hill of Howth just after Xmas is always fun as well:

    fat turkey is tough

    up to the summit,

then a great downhill section back.

but even the way down has a twist with one uphill loop!

    cheers

Did the Fat Turkey yesterday and really enjoyed it, thanks for recommending it HelenAnne.
Organisation was spot on, couldn't fault anything at all on the day.
That climb to the top was quite something, but the views coming down made it all worthwhile. Set a new 5k pb (coming down!) but as my legs were feeling the effects of the way up I'll take it!
Jaffa cakes at the finish line and a surprisingly good goodie bag and nice t-shirt, I'll be back next year!
