Hey all! Just wondering if anyone has any experience as a camp councillor etc. At a summer camp in Canada (or the US) ? Not entirely sure what the job would be like on a day-to-day basis.. Appreciate any help!

I did it for the Fall season in YLCC in Ontario (Pigeon Lake, but that's closed now. There's another in Orilla).

It's bloody hard work. Staff quarters aren't great, and the pay is very low.

On the other hand, it's lovely being out in nature and watching kids learn skills.

It's not for everyone, but if it's something you've done your homework on and still want to do, then good luck to you.
