Hey, I'm a fifth year student who is currently doing chemistry. I'm finding it a little tough, I'm doing alright in tests but I feel like I have just been very lucky so far...
Our Christmas tests are coming up soon, and I'm just looking for advice about study. Also, does it get better? We have done the first seven chapters of Chemistry Live which pretty much talks about the atom. We are doing Trends now... I find these concepts a bit hard to grasp, does it get easier or even worse?
Any advice would be helpful! Thanks!
(Sorry I posted this in the wrong section before).

Take time and ask your teacher to explain the concepts slowly for you - after class if necessary. There will be an 'ahah' moment, but without understanding what is going on, you're going to get more and more bogged down. Now ids the time to do it, not in 15 months time.

Thanks so much. I'm just really worried that the famous 'ahah' moment will never come... Everyone says it exists but no one ever says when it happens. Different for everyone I guess. Thanks again.
