We have eir fibre broadband, using F2000 modem. In recent weeks only the 5G is working. While our apple devices are ok to use this, we have a printer and android phone which only work using 2.4G. I have reset the modem, turned it off etc but to no avail. Can you please suggest how we can get it working again.
    Many thanks.

Go to http://192.168.1.254 in a browser. Login and make sure 2.4ghz is enabled.
If it's enabled and you can't use it then it sounds like the f2000 is faulty and Eir will need to send you a new one.

Thank you tuxy. I tried that and it's just saying no device connected to 2.4Ghz. When we try to connect it's just not working. All apple devices are listed as connected to 5Ghz. Poor son is going mad as he has android phone. Hopefully will get it sorted soon.

I had this problem as well and ended up having to get a new router sent out. Took a long chat with Tech support to get it sorted though.

Oh and if they are sending a new one, someone needs to be there to hand back the old router (they neglected to tell me this on the phone !!)
