    Hi there,
Need to change a sensor, huge price difference between some of the sensors.
couple are 55 euro (blueprint & "standard")
    Bosch is 115
    Denso is ~220.

Id be happy enough paying for the Bosch... would the other ones be rubbish?
Its not my car...its my mums...shes an OAP so cash is to be conserved...car is a 2009 yaris 1.3
    Marty.

Blueprint is a good brand for other stuff, I don't know about their sensors.
Since that is cheaper I'd go with this one (check warranty for it)

Is it for a Toyota? I know that the genuine Toyota ones work while others often don't work well.

Bought a Blueprint lambda sensor for a mazda 6 years ago and it worked fine.

Thats the case for quite a few brands, the cheaper ones just dont work full stop

Cheers... I’ll prob order the Bosch for it, in fairness they usually do things pretty right.

Have you tried other suppliers for prices. Some of the cheaper brands will require you to splice the wiring together it will not be plug and play like the more expensive parts. Bad wiring can then lead to EML coming on and faults. For a Toyota I'd go Denso. Try Ebay for pricing also.

Are you doing the job yourself? The hardest work is getting the old one out, new one will be simple to put in, there's sockets you can buy that will go around the sensor to help removing it.

Yeah I’ll do it myself.., I don’t mind splicing and soldering, looks like the Bosch needs to be spliced in actually.

I actually only got to look at the car this eve since reading the fault codes.. I tested the heater circuit on it and it seems ok.
The same car has been burning a bit if oil last few months... I’m wondering if the sensor is plugged with oil?
