    Any problem getting planning to build over a garage which is adjoining neighbours garage?

    You never need permission from neighbours...

    They are informed by you being neighbourly or by a site notice at which point the can object.

    Only the Planners

    You have precedence, great, if they got planning, why wouldn’t you

    You don’t need permission from neighbours, but it’s good practice to tell them before they see the planning notice
