    Hi everyone,

Fairly new here but I was wondering if you could help me.
My home has a gas fireplace and we would like ideally to convert that to a stove/fire.
As I have no idea about the cost and technical aspects of the job needed, can you advise on average cost, places to check even pm me contact details for installers that you have used and you were happy with the result?

    Many thanks,

I am interested in the same topic. I received a price today for the installation of a stove in fireplace for ~ 2.5k(includes removal of existing gas heater). I was advised that I’d need a certified gas installer to close off the gas supply also - likely an additional 120 or so.

Wondering if this sounds like a reasonable price?
