    Hey guys,

Picked up a really nice Guess t-shirt in a thrift recently for next to nothing. However, there is about a 2cm ink stain on the shoulder of it and I'm just wondering how I'd go about removing it?

Stain removal spray or oxy powder (make sure it's for coloured clothes, not just white) mixed into a paste. Rub it into the stain, leave for about 15-20 minutes, then wash as normal. If it's water-based ink, that should get rid of it (might take a second application/wash). If it's permanent marker, you're probably stuck with it.

If it's ordinary writing ink, I have had success with that stuff they use for bleaching baby bottles - Milton
Failing that, a very dilute solution of chlorine bleach, eg Domestos or similar. Don't leave it on too long, as this may weaken the fabric: but it is usually very good for ink.
PS you don't say what kind of ink: if ballpoint, this can be very difficult to remove.

Thanks for the help, guys. I'm not sure what kind of ink it is as it was on the shirt when I got it. Haven't got around to tackling it yet, will do over the weekend. Thanks again.

Have you tried soaking it in milk?
