    You can't view TV programs here on the BBC iPlayer because of geographic restrictions.

    This starts Sunday 11th November on bbc1 @ 20.30.

    The 5 episodes follow a different species in each one -
    Wild dog
    Tiger
    Emperor penguin

    Tigers
    One of the great apes

    I can't get 4k on iplayer, only HD. I had the same issue during the world cup.

    Any ideas? My tv is 4k and I seem to be able to play 4k youtube videos. I even managed to play a demo 4k from the planet earth series that was on the iplayer.

    I have the same problem LG 43 4k ,the 4k iplayer was fine till the world cup .You could try setting up VPN network if you can . I,m thinking its geographically blocked now .

    Sorry for OT but - can you guys tell the differences between 1080p and 4k? Just got a 40 inch 4k tv and it isn't clear to me.

    Yep definitely. Look up some 4K videos on YouTube and you hopefully should be able to tell the difference

    For me the difference between sd and hd is greater.
