Box or TV problem?

    Hi

    Friend has an old Pace Sky box and a Bush tv connected via RF (long distance from box to tv). TV remote doesn't work properly - no volume or anything and the manual button on tv doesn't work either.

    I removed and reconnected the RF cable from the tv and everything works fine until the tv is restarted. Did a full reset on the tv and it's the same.

    RF Outlet Power Supply option on Sky box was set to ON so turned it off - same. He's also getting interference on tv so tried to change the RF channel from 68 but when I try to save the new setting, the box restarts.

    I've got a feeling that the box is faulty but I wanted to make sure so has anybody got any ideas?
