Thought ye guys might appreciate the share... :pac:

Here is a Video I did up showing what I regard to be one of the coolest Arcades in the world right now.

I have been away with work last 4 weeks and managed to get in a visit to both Hong Kong and Tokyo, the later been on my bucket list for a decade!

On visiting Hong Kong I made it my business to go visit Kowloon City Park, in the 90s think of it like dozens of the ballybun flats stitched together with no laws, no planning regulations, it had an opium factory, den of thieves and criminals used hid out here to avoid the law and heavily known for prostitution. The flats were torn down in the 90s, replaced with a pretty park, and to my disappointment, I couldn't find the arcade nearby as it was actually a Tokyo, Japan arcade not Hong Kong one was the replica arcade was located.

So onto Toyko, I went 3 weeks later, on an NRT Train about 40 minutes from Toyko station, where you will find the Kowloon replica Arcade. It's a replica of Hong Kong's infamous and very illegal Kowloon Walled City in Tokyo. Upon entry its got Startrek automatic metal doors, along with some sort of Stargate, and a little lagoon mimicking something outta Temple of Doom and/or Big Trouble in Little China.

One the 1st floor you have some old cabs (Outrun Deluxe, Darius, SF1, etc) along with about 100 candy cabs!
It has another 2-3 floors for ping pong darts and other weird arcade machines, but 1st floor is where all the magic is.

Very cool place, highly recommend a visit and beats anything Akihabara has to offer, Kev

Amazing really, that level of invesment. I used to be on a virtual chat room called Second Life and you would regurarly find themed places as detailed as that.

I'd like to find out more about the whole process of getting this project out there.

Amazing alright, prob a grail moment as opposed to getting a grail cab :)

I will remember this visit for many years to come.

Great to think in this day and age such places still exists or even are newly being created.
