Hi. It's been years since I've had to look for a job. I've just noticed that a form for a public service job requires MS Office. My office PC has MS Office but I don't want to complete job applications while at work. I have a laptop at home and thought I'd be able to apply from here, but this morning, when I tried to fill in a form, I got the message that 'this document has certain edit capabilities that have been locked'.
    What can I do?

Do you need to edit the document or is it ready to send?

Easy fix would be copy the contents of the word doc and open a new word doc paste in and save .

It depends on what you're trying to do.
Lots of job application forms are PDFs or Word documents- that you can enter text in input boxes- but you cannot edit/modify the forms themselves.
Its entirely possible that you don't actually have a problem with the form.

If he uploads the doc we can have look for him and sort it out easy enough.
