Gas Boiler Service Dublin Area - Who to choose?

    Hi,

    We had our gas turned back on yesterday, with it being off for a few months.

    First thing I've noticed is that it now produces a loud noise when flaming up, which goes away but once all the rads are at full heat, the boiler itself gets louder with a dull whooping noise.

    I went outside last night and noticed that our neighbours in the same building, had condensed steam coming from their vents, but we had none so I'm a bit worried.

    Should a standard service sort these issues out and if so, who am I best going with? We're with Bord Gais and they do provide the service at 99e, but I've seen Independent RGI's for rates as low as 50.

    Same issue as myself with the chimney smoke, maybe it's normal so.?
