Cat litter tray liner bags - good source

Where are people getting their cat litter tray liner bags these days?

Tesco seemed to have stopped doing them. We've been getting some in Dealz. They come in a green box, but the plastic is really too light and flimsy. We have to use two bags all the time, and even then they rip every time.

I've been looking on eBay, but it's hard to tell anything about the quality of the plastic.

    Any good tips?

MaxiZoo have them if there's one near you.

Thanks, are their bags decent quality?

I don't know, I don't use them, but I've definitely seen them there.

I just put a pad of newspaper in the tray, and pour the litter over it. Soaks up the pee and then I just tip the lot, newspaper too, into the compost heap, when it needs changing

THanks for the suggestion, but I think I'll stick with the bags.

I just use ordinary bin bags. I cut one side of it so it fits over the tray. Much cheaper and more bags in a roll!

I used to recycle all the plastic bags from the dry feed but now we're not allowed. So.....I cut them down one side and across the bottom so that they lie fairly neatly in the tray. They're not as good as purpose made liners but there's very little that will stand up to cats digging for victory and these pretty much do. It's just a careful balancing act to tip it all into a bin bag. Frugal living!
