    Hi,

Can you tell when or if there is any plans to connect cabinet number RIV1_001??
It's been marked as "Fibre build commenced - completion work is in progress" for about a year and a half.

    Thanks

    Hi there Daniogroove

Unfortunately we will not be able to assist with this here as we can only go by the map availability via https://www.eir.ie/eirfibreinfo/map/ The only department that might be able to assist is our Sales Team at 1800503303

    Thanks Kyle,

But can you escalate this to senior management please?
The fibre rollout is due for completion in June 2019 and I'm not filled with confidence this cabinet will be active by then. There is circa 50 properties within easily connectable FTTH range an hundreds of properties within FTTC range from this cabinet. Not to mention a school and a number of business premises.

Surely someone can give more up to date information than the coverage map?

    Hi Daniogroove

Unfortunately we will not be able to escalate this here. We can only go by what the map says. The only team that will be able to assist is Sales so contact them and see what they say

Well as already stated by the ASAI that map is misleading. https://www.asai.ie/complaint/telecommunications-broadband-4/
So quite frankly it's no good and should be taken down.

And as regards escalating further, I'm sure you can. Unless you're Ms Lennon doing undercover boss then you must have supervisor/line manager who can report it to your operations manager who can then liase with someone from the broadband department.

What your saying means Eir staff can't communicate with other departments within the same company. We both know that's not true.

Spoke to the sales team tonight.
They can't give me any estimation or any further information.
It was recommend I speak to customer care and they should be able to help.

I remember yourself Kyle from the meteor community forum days so I'm sure you're well placed and knowledgeable to raise this further.
