    Been called for a medical for a County Council job. What is involved in the medical?Thanks for feedback

    Usually a hearing test, eye test, doctor checks your chest, blood pressure. Usually in and out in 45 mins

    Do you have to pay for it up front? I got caught for €105 for one recently. Will get it back once I start work.

    I will have to pay for it myself and will get it back once i start. 105 is steep alright. Was it just hearing test, eye test, doctor checks your chest, blood pressure??anything else involved?

    Pretty much that. Met a nurse first and she did sight and hearing test, blood pressure check, respiratory function, height and weight. Urine sample checked. Doctor then did mobility. Had to lie on a bed and raise each leg, also checked reflexes, listened to my heart and checked ears and throat.

    Excellent they pretty much test everything so.Happy days looking forward to when it is over

    hi there, i must do a medical check for the council but i just broke a bone in my hand, it is nothing serious and i will be back in action in 3 to 4 weeks, i am still working but just wondering do you know could i fail the medical
