House rewire advice

    Hi there,

I am looking to get house rewire.

House is 1960s era Dublin 3bed 90-100sqm bought a year ago.

Wiring appears to be old rubber insulated light sockets have no Earth's.

We have had three electricians call with prices varying from 7.5-12k which came as a huge shock as we hadn't budgeted.

I found a company <Mod snip> I did a search here and ask about money but couldn't find anything about them they seem to be coming in less.

Has anyone used or heard of them or could ye pm me any recommendations of an electrician to do a rewire at a good price.

    Thanks
    Mick
