Edision OS Mega Set Up Question

    Hi All,
I'm currently getting to grips with trying to set up an Edision OS Mega STB for a relative.
I'm generally finding my way around it, trial and error (and reading lots of forums)
I've found a few useful threads on here:
    Edision OS Mega EPG question
    E-Channelizer for Enigma2
Combine Saorsat and Freesat on Enigma 2

So I'm doing my homework and I've tried to avoid posting on here for as long as I could, but I've hit a wall:

When I try to run a scan on the AutoBouquetsMaker I get the following error: "Incompatible versions: 2.5>3.1"
I'm able to arrange a makeshift Bouquet through the OpenWebif software, but it's far from ideal.

    I'm currently running OpenVix 4.2.030.

My question is if I update to OpenVix 5.2.005, will this solve my AutoBouquetsMaker issue / is it generally worth updating to the latest version?

Save yourself a massive amount of pain and install the latest Willobuild for openvix on this. It will make your life a lot easier. Don't think I'm allowed share link, easy to find on Google though. I'm using it with the slyk1 template and Irish and UK channels all on the one EPG, with series record for both. Any questions free to ask as long as within forum guidelines.

Great, thank you very much. I'll look into that. Can't say I've heard of it but that wouldn't be hard! I went out e-channelizer in the end, but I'm certainly willing to switch off there are better options out there.

Tell you what, I'm going to be updating to Openvix 5.2 next week, which will need a new install (cannot update from 5.1 to 5.2 apparently).
I be using the Willowbuild again then, if you like I can backup the completed image and put online for you.
Some caveats - 1) You must want Irish Aerial Saorview and Freesat Channels and 2) Would strongly recommend you have an internet connection to the box for updates though not absolutely necessary (it has inbuilt wifi but its rubbish for streaming in my experience if you want to do that).
My build will have a favorites list listing Irish channels first followed by UK ones, will throw up a screenshot later if you like?
