I am looking to purchase a laptop (big screen like 15“ size nothing too small), mainly to use for Microsoft word and PowerPoint, a bit of storage too but not too bothered about storage. Just a simple enough laptop. I have had a LENOVO before and will not be re-purchasing as it was awful. My boyfriend had a ASUS and I found that awful also. My budget is max €500. The best I‘ve seen so far is HP. Can anyone recommend or link and bargain deals on laptops? Thanks in advance.

The problem with Laptops is you have to spend money to get a good one or travel or take a chance. I was in the same position about a year ago. So I Ran up to Newry to Argos one day. Sweet. I got an Acer Aspire 1Tb and 8Gb ram. Happy days. Came in at about 425 euro.

You more or less get what you pay for.

The Dell UK outlet can be good from time to time, but you have to keep checking it.
