Removing dividing wall

Standard terraced house. Removing wall between kitchen and diningroom.
Installing patio door in place of diner window. Diner ch rad is located on internal wall opposite window. Other wall is chimney breast.
Will lose the kitchen rad that is currently on kitchen side of wall to be removed.
Worried that the single diner rad wont heat resulting open space (about 26 sM floor space).

    Q. Would it make sense or be effective to locate a panel rad on the ceiling. Say where the RSJ will be installed..

We did a similar job. The single rad is fine. If you do want to be safe change out the rad that’s left to a double rad.

With regards the rsj I strongly advise to recess it rather than having a box divide the room
