What a disappointment! I love these types of programmes where cluttered houses get decluttered and a few rooms made over by a designer, but what a disappointment this was. Lovely couple, son and Mum in Cork, 2 bedrooms needed help. Ended up with what looked like chipboard for a floor in both rooms????? It would cut the toes of ya, gather every bit of dust that ever came down, and be impossible to wash, not practical at all. The paint job and the overall finish was boring.....with a budget of €8,000, I was hoping for better, what does everyone think?

    I think it is chipboard.

I see about €200 spent. Where did the rest go ?

I can see loads of clothes hanging from that 4 poster. Chipboard was awful, said the same to hubby about it cutting the feet of you. €8000 was a lot of money spent on basically de cluttering a room. Seemed like a nice family though, very talented.

What was wrong with the old beds? Could they not have been reused? How that make over disgrace cost €8k is beyond me.

They looked like the inside of two garden sheds. Absolutely awful. Lovely family though taken for a ride by someone who wanted to use them for a TV show.
