Broadband keeps dropping and now router only powers up intermittently

    Recently switched from sky BB to eir in the hope of saving a few quid. A month into new service and my broadband started to drop and speeds started to slow quite a bit. Then a week or so ago my BB just died completely. Very inconvenient as I had taken a few days off to work from home. Contacted tech support technician was sent out next day and replaced the router. Thought happy days only to get home to the EXACT same issues - BB kept dropping to a point where there is zero connections and again our nice new router is only powering up every now and again - not that it makes much difference as there is zero connection.

    All my neighbours (sky customers) have super fast BB with no issues - never an issue with my line in my 18months with sky only started when I switched to eir. Awaiting a call from technician again but not holding out much hope of a resolution... anyone else suffer issues like these.
