Anderson is a great angry player.

I wonder what happened with smiths hand. Looks like someone in the crowd hurt him

Cross, Anderson, Wright and Suljovic all out.

Cross has really gone off the boil and Wadey seems to be continuing his decent form

How is this a ranking event when it's basically the final of an exhibition tour?

Smith in fire great 141 there

Not much excitement in the QF so far hopefully RvB v MVG is a bit better.

Price, Smith and Wade through so far

That was better, RvB got over the line against MVG

I think Price will win it now

Seeing the worst of the moaner RvG tonight, looks like he’s totally given up.

Wadey playing well, hopes he hands him his ass

He is duly obliging so far. Cool calm and collected so far from Wade.

    Wade v Smith final

Wade was clinical in hammering RvG

Hoping he wins it, Smith scores very heavily but usually has dodgy spells that cost him

Have a tenner on Bullyboy at 4-1 so hope he wins Wade was very convincing there wasn't put under any real pressure though.

Have enjoyed the night so far great to see Wade in his second final in two weeks.

    Really enjoyable Final..

Incredible final, brilliant stuff, had everything

If Wade had lost it, busting on that 121 would have haunted him

    Wade is on a roll..
    Feel sorry for Smith though..

Hopefully make for a very exciting/interesting World Championship with some of the “2nd tier” players upping their games and MVG way below his best.

Always liked Wadey would love to see him win the big one.

What’s he been quoted at now?

Edit: just googled and he’s 66/1, how is Smith 33/1.

It's not a ranking event as far as I know.

It has it's own internal rankings though, which might be where the earlier posters confusion arose. e.g., you get points for your performance in the Dubai/Auckland etc World Series events which decide your ranking for these Finals.
I think this is what the commentators were referring to.

There is a qualification route for every card holder to get to the finals though, so surley it goes towards the order of merit?

None of the World Series events go towards the order of merit. List of non-ranking tournaments can be found here - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PDC_Order_of_Merit
