    I knew a fella who used make his living by walking through the woods beside the local golf club in his slippers looking for stray golf balls.


    He'd be seen scouring the forest floor in all weathers finding balls and selling them back to the golfers in the clubhouse at 50p each.

    The dentist down the street from me sometimes gets me to cover for him when he's on sick or off on his holidays.

    Not a bad gig by the way, easy enough to bluff your way through it, I've only had to perform the 2 extractions in 3 years, the fillings are actually much more difficult, but the drilling is great craic and totally makes up for the filling lark.

    Has it's perks, he usually leaves a few bob in credit behind the counter of the local centra deli for sangers and coffee, and pays me cash in hand.

    Pm if anyone wants to save themselves a few bob on their oral hygiene.
