Pest Control Recommendation

    Hope I'm posting in the right area, if not then I apologise :)

    As above, I'm wondering if there are any pest control companies who not only deal with getting rid of mice but who also look for and block up areas where they must be getting in. I've set traps and blocked air bricks with wire wool as best as I can myself, but feel I need to get someone who knows what they're doing to do it. I can't access the attic but typically the only noise I hear is between the sitting room ceiling and under the floorboards of my bedroom. I've caught two mice in the last month (only in the hotpress) despite having laid traps in every room bar the attic. I don't know where the nest is, I never see any or signs of them despite having pulled out furniture and appliances and cleaning regularly. I understand Rentokil charge €300 for putting down poison alone; at this stage I'll pay that but need to find out where they're getting in and block it up.

    I'm in my house 6 years and apart from the first year, haven't had any mice again till this year. I'm off work this week and can hear movement upstairs at this time of the day, I went to look but again, no sight of anything. I have (even though I didn't want to) put down poison near the u-bend under the kitchen sink and in the hotpress.

    Help, please!! I'm in Offaly if that makes any difference.
