Three questions have the test soon!

    1. My instructor told me its perfectly fine to stop the car when the kerb disappears in the mirror to look around for traffic and then start again turning the wheel at this point. Is this acceptable or does it need to be done in one movement?

    2. Are you allowed adjust your mirror for this? I assume so as that is what they are there for, but want to be 100% sure.

    3. Indicators, my instructor told me to leave on my left indicator doing the manoeuvre, is this correct?

    Thank you!

    1.  Yes,  the front of the car swings out when you turn,  therefore before you turn the wheel you must give a full right hand blind spot check.  To do so safely you must be stopped.
    2. Of course, just do not forget to re-adjust before moving off.
    3.  Cancel your indicator.

Also for the turn about he said signal as if I am pulling off, I take it this is true as the signal will cancel itself once I go to reverse (2nd part of turnabout). That is okay yes ?

    Hi,
Yes, it is OK to signal right,  at start of the manoeuvre.
