Wheel bearing

    Have a loud wheel when it's moving. No play in it at all but it's noise is noticeable when driving _ i have a video attached of car jacked up and spinning the wheel by hand. Any idea if this confirms the bearing is shot?

    Looks like the brakes are dragging a bit also.

    Have you rocked it at 12&6 to see if there is any play?

    Have you checked hub nut is tight?

    To me it sounds like its coming from your brake pads/caliper or dust shield.

    Further investigation is needed though.

    Thanks lads / I did have a problem with the other caliper but this side was ok. There's drag but I don't think it's worse than it should be- no play at all9-3 or 12-6

    Wheel bearings that make noise will generally have zero play. The ones with play don't make any noise!
