I was on the M7 during the week and there was a truckload of Pigs beside me, presumably being taken to meet their end.

Does seeing that sort of thing make you think twice about tucking into a pork chop or tasty burger?

There’s actually a pig amusement park near Naas. They were on a day out.

They'd eat you if they got a chance.

I worked on a pig farm for 3 months during the summer a few years ago.

Pigs are actually very intelligent animals but unfortunately they were (and are) treated quite poorly in the industrial farms where they are raised.

I saw some upsetting things on that farm. I didn't eat Pork for about a year afterwards, but over time I kinda forgot about it and now I love my Sunday morning fry.

If it wasn't for meat eaters those animals wouldn't have been born so is it better to eat something that was born to be ate or not to eat something so it's not born?

I suppose being a meat factory worker is getting away with murder.

My father started keeping pigs a few years ago, and was having second thoughts about killing the first set, until one of them bit him on the leg.

    Not in the slightest.
I know lots of farmers, people who work in meat factories, etc.
I'd sometimes hear somebody say I worked in the meat factory for a bit and it turned me off meat. It never surprised me one little bit that those people said it. They were always that way inclined.

No, meat tastes too amazing particularly pork, steak and duck. Even if I was having a vegetarian dish it would be nicer with meat. I wish laws on how animals are treated were stricter, ive seen a few documentaries but these only make me feel bad for about a day at the most as I couldn't live without meat. I'd never enter a slaughterhouse as I want to pretend to myself that meat just comes from a meat shop rather than animals.

Meat all the way! You only get one life and I am not going to spend it eating rabbit food when I could be eating rabbit.

Killing an animal to eat does not bother me in the slightest.
