Driveway slopes down towards house

    Hi all,
I am trying to weight up the options available to me with regards to a driveway.
The current driveway is concreted for one car but I am planning to knock away the front wall which will open the driveway for 2-3 cars.

My problem is the current driveway slopes down towards the house, which makes it difficult to use for a car, in fact I don't use it at all as my particular car scrapes the peak of the slope when I try to get it in.

I estimate the slope to be about 3 ft. Meaning if I was to level it, I would need a retaining wall of around 3-4 ft min. Has anyone experience of links to pictures of levelling a sloping driveway?
I am not sure bringing up the level will look ok and could really take away from the look of the house.

    Any tips or ideas?

Would you not just reprofile the top of the slope so it's got more of a curve, and so doesn't have a ridge for the underside of the car to catch on?

Your probably aware your plans require planning permission so just making sure you’ve budgeted for this.

Actually I wasn't aware of the need for planning permission??

What would the planning permission be for? Maybe I should clarify....my front of house consists of a garden and a concrete driveway for one car. My plan would be to extend the concrete space by digging up garden so as to allow for 2 cars...wasn't aware I would need planning for such?!?!

You said in the original post you want to knock away the front wall which is the alteration or creation of a vehicular entrance. This is what you need planning permission for.
