    Hi all

I hooked up a dvd player to my flatscreen using a scart lead

When I turn on the dvd player the tv's not switching from the sky box on HDMI to the scart
    input automatically as I expected

I tried turning off the sky box first.Any idea why it might not be changing over ?

    Thanks

Is it a fully wired scart lead, including pin 7 which iirc carries the switching signal?

Why not just use the HDMI cable if you have a connection for it on TV and player
and leave scart out of the equasion

I think so, i tried 2 leads .One is a thick heavy one

Could there be a setting on the dvd player,it's a new one.

Usually when you select " PLAY " it takes over the TV
