    If I might piggyback on this thread, is there a gluten free chipper in Kilkenny. I'd love chipper chips, but afraid of getting ill.

    Everything else roma is your man

    Mario's beside lidl on the waterford rd is good. I find larkins greasy quantity over quality. Fish face not bad either.

    Larkins for chips (and if they have a plain chicken breast they will cook it with the chips if asked).

    I wouldn't eat them often enough for a proper opinion but of what I've tried in Kilkenny;

    Larkins are very nice when fresh. And Roccos chips are quite nice too.

    Marios hit and miss, can be rather dry. Fish Face are similarly inconsistent.

    Got a bag of chips from Joes one evening, and I'm not sure what exactly was in the bag, but they weren't chips.

    Larkins is good but I think Fish Face takeaway (nearby) is also very good.
