Since when does twitter give validation to a point?

Gee - whizz I have seen some things in my time, but seeing two lads nearly going to blows the other night over which twitter account they followed was better takes the biscuit. Having known these lads for years both were echoing the tweeter they were following.(Funny thing was it was about nitrogen levels in cow dung).

Now I have seen it crop up on Internet forums(twitter not the dung), but since when has twitter been used to validate a point?

I was there for the cure - that's when it happened. Still does not answer the question?

Why not get whipped up into a frenzy over nothing in particular.

Twitter is the perfect place to talk pure dung.

TBF you can read news articles on a 'twitter storm' which involves 4 'furious' tweeters. It's not too surprising that people take it seriously when it's presented as serious.
