Bio Ethanol Fire - a false ecomony?

Is anyone here running a typical standalone/wall mounted bio-ethanol fuel fire.

I'm half tempted - that half due to cost of fire and the ease of installation (and it's flame fire which is always nice) but the cost of the fuel appears to be verging upon prohibitive for the heat return unless it's used as little more than an ornament on an occasional basis.

Love some feedback on this :)

Perhaps a link to the product you write about would help.

They all burn by the same process, the issue is cost of fuel per 1000 BTU. So it's a fairly generic query on my part.

It's an ornament. You wouldn't really use it for heat. You'd have the central heating on as well.
