Hi

My contract is up next month.
Will I now automatically go onto a 30 day contract with totally unlimited download allowance?

Thanks

Hi there,

The services will remain the same and if you ever wish to cancel you will only be required to give 30 days notice providing the contract has ended.

Thanks,

Sarah

Why is there no option for unlimited broadband?
You are giving it to all of your new customers but not to existing.
Or will I have to move to another provider to get that?

Ok if I sign up to another 12 month contract will I then be able to have totally unlimited broadband? What price will I pay per month?

I also have a dongle on pay as you go. I am thinking of going on bill pay - €20 p/m for 25gb. Can I sign upto this with my existing dongle.
Will the dongle stop one from exceeding their data allowance?

Thanks

When your contract is up, nothing really changes to your service. It stays the same. The main difference is the door opens to you to leave them or to sign up to the new contract with Eir.

Eir generally don't automatically change terms of your contract with them without you asking yourself. If a new plan comes out, then it stays exactly that. An independent new plan that does not affect you. If you wish to sign up to that new plan, then you can after you current contract is up.

When signing up to the plan and new contract just make sure you ask your sales guy a question will your internet now be truly unlimited. If he says yes, get a written evidence just in case.

As for your dongle question. Yes, you can keep using your old dongle as long as it accepts Eir SIM. But why would you? The main benefit of signing up to bill pay MBB is to get free dongle from Eir.

Hi there Tigerandahalf

Completely agree with RobiePAX. Just call them, confirm that your contract is ending and you're looking for the the "truly unlimited".

Thanks for reply Kyle.

Can this not be done online. It is a nuisance having to call and spending ages waiting to get through.

I just want to get a truly unlimited package.

If I have to call what free phone number can I use?

Thanks

Is it the case that eir have lost BT sports from next August?

Hi there Tigerandahalf

We are aware of today’s announcement from Sky and BT and from an eir sport perspective, there is no immediate change for our valued customers and the BT Sport channels remain part of the eir sport pack for the foreseeable future

Kyle

Do I have to call a number to get a new contract on truly unlimited basis?

Is there not a way of doing it online?

If not what freephone number can I ring?

Thanks again

More than welcome. If you call 1800503303 and just explain that you are willing to take another contract for the "truly unlimited", they will be able to assist you with this. Unfortunately this can only be done by calling in

Sent you a pm Kyle.

20 mins on hold and no answer.
Why we can't do this online is just silly.

Am I better off just cancelling and signing up again.

Painful process as usual.

Any idea what fftc companies out there offer unlimited broadband. I know sky do. Any others?

Thanks
