    Hi

Sorry this may be the wrong forum.
Just wondering if an appointed fire warden in the workplace has personal liablity if deaths or injury if there were a fire. If there were fire hazzards not addressed in the work place.
    thanks

    Hi Molly,

In general no, the obligations in law and therefore the accountability rest with the employer. If you were to deliberately subvent their safe systems of work then you could be prosecuted for that act, but this is a real rarity.
