Sorry I am sure this has been asked before many times but i have searched and searched and nothing useful to me found.

I have a Blaupunkt 40" LED TV which is hooked up to an old NTL aerial cable from the wall.

It only seems to pick up analogue channels? yes?:o As we were reduced from around 16 channels to 9 when they switched off some of the analogue channels recently.

Im pretty sure my tv is saorview enabled- what do i need to do to access saorview? Is the NTL cable of any use to me?

    Thanks

You'll require a UHF aerial to receive the Saorview channels from your nearest transmitter, in Dublin that'll be either Three Rock or Kippure. An external aerial is recommended but in Dublin an attic aerial may suffice.

What you're connected to there is the Virgin cable network, not an aerial. You can't use it for anything other than Virgin.
