How do I Identify Pressure / Return pipes - Radiator

    Hi,

Recently moved into house, all radiators have the same valves and none have plastic tops so everything looks exactly the same. Many of the valves are 'sticky' / hard to twist so time to drain and replace them all. I want to fit thermostatic valves this time but how do I identify which pipe is the pressure and which is the return in order to fit the thermostat on the correct side?

Want to get this done soon while there is still some heat in the day :)

    Oliver

Flow pipe will get hot first.

    :D

Had to smile when I read that - of course, pressure side will always get hot first!!!

Thanks for opening my eyes :o

    Cheers,

    Oliver
