    It's only engineering works, it happens on some bank holidays. You can still travel.

    All rail companies do works on bank holiday weekends. Major work takes a long time and it effects less people. Imagine the chaos if they did major maintenence during the working week.

    Ah comeon now they're giving you a bus transfer its bot like theyre throwing you out in the cold. That being said long weekends more often than not are when maintinence works happen expecially since its the only oppertunity they can do them without disrupting the bread and butter of the buisness aka commuters.
