Skoda superb Mark 3. Noise coming from front wheel

Few years back I had wheel bearings replaced on a santa fe I owned.  So I figured the similar noise ( gets louder with road speed  as opposed to revs) I have now was just that ,  a wheel bearing.  Garage man concurred and we replaced where the noise appeared to come from,  drivers side front.  However this made no difference.  I also swapped over the wheel incase it was something as simple as a tyre or alloy causing the road noise. I it a noise very similar to a failed bearing is all I can describe it as but if its not a bearing then what can it be?
Car has 100k on it,  2016 superb.

Check brake discs and pads that gravel etc hasn't got trapped..100k that car isn't even ran in yet..wheel bearing usually above 300k. Yes they could fail anytime with potholes or kerb driving but usually not ... see if noise changes when braking

Could be dry CV joint. They cause a similar noise if dry or failing. Could be warped brake disks or bad abs or caliper.

Now that you mention it the noise does tend to get louder as I brake but again I thought that was cause was throwing more weight onto the front when braking. Mechanic had the brake pads and calipers off to check for foreign objects so that ok.  I cant see it being a warped disk as I would expect some vibration through the steering wheel when braking. Will get the balancing and alignment checked out next.  Mechanic is out of ideas and as for main dealer one bad experience to many means I wont go near them

Did you have any work done to the car before the noise developed.? Is it more noticeable at slow speeds, turning ect

No,  the noise only becomes noticable as you increase speed.  By noticable I mean if you werent used to the car you wouldnt see it an any thing unusual. But it is a definite drone that increases in volume and frequency as speed increases. No noise when turning.  Noise doesnt increase or decrease as you sweep round a bend which I understand woud indicate a wheel bearing coming to end of life

Well you're after ruling out wheel ..hub..bearing noise. Does noise change with acceleration/deceleration is it an intercooler. .. turbo pipe seal leaking when turbo comes in usually above 1200/1400 rpm. If it were me I'd find a downhill quiet road and with window down let car coast ..even with engine off but ignition on to avoid steering lock and also mind braking as you wouldn't have servo assist. Ie hard pedal. Something your mechanicie lad could do. That's if the noise comes at lower speeds. Not for 60k+
Simply try to identify the cause of the noise.. it could even be wind noise getting in through grill bumper etc the list could be endless.

I wouldn't rule out one of the other wheel bearings. It can be ridiculously difficult to identify which of them is making the noise.

Its not a leak in the air intake.  I have had them previously and you hear the hiss when turbo boosts the pressure.  Also would expect black smoking from exhaust. In anycase with engine off and rolling from top of hill the noise increases as speed increases down the hill.
Took car to tyre dealer and wheel allignment is perfect.  Balance is perfect. The next thing mechanic is saying is just go for the passenger side bearing.  FFS.  Seems if computer can't tell you whats wrong with a car these days then you may as well throw a lump of **** at the car and replace what ever it sticks to.  Old mechanic retired last year. He had no clue about ECUs and stuff but he would have this problem sussed in 5 min I'm sure.

Is the car still under warranty?
