Hi there,
I submitted a complaint via the Eir website. I received an automated response:

The matter will be investigated and a member of the Customer Care Team or a representative from the appropriate business unit will be in touch with you within 2 working days with a view to resolving your issue.

That was October 5th, I have not received a response of any kind.  Is there a significant backlog or should I give up waiting?

Thanks for your help
Best wishes

Hi there,
Did you get an opportunity to seek the clarifications of the points in the PM which I sent?

Having written to eir via registered post and had my complaint in writing ignored (and subsequent follow ups) I had to engage ComReg to chase it up. Once ComReg were involved all of a sudden my complaint was reviewed and a refund processed no questions asked.
